What Is The Lands Beyond?
This is an open-table legacy campaign using the Old School Essentials system by Necrotic Gnomes, running the first Thursday of every month.
Open-table means you don’t have to (but still can) register to participate ahead of time. Simply show up with your character sheet from a previous event or grab one of the pregenerated characters! Anyone is welcome to play regardless of experience!
Legacy means that not only will your character level up, earn treasure and magic items, but their actions and investigations into the frontier will have lasting impact on the campaign setting. Your choices and triumphs--alongside those of your peers--will shape the fate of Valgo Hold and its surrounding lands, for good or ill!
What is Old School Essentials?
OSE is simply a re-write/re-formatting of the original D&D system. With a more user-friendly layout, it’s incredible readable and usable at a table. And it’s free! Necrotic Gnomes offers a free feature-complete copy of their ruleset online.
