Every Thursday No Land Beyond is now offering an official Pauper tournament! Pauper is a constructed Magic The Gathering format where only cards that have been printed at Common rarity are allowed. Starting August 1st Pauper will be transitioning to a weekly tournament!

Come out and play Sorcery: Contested Realm at No Land Beyond! Every week the Sorcery Social Club hosts casual games of Sorcery: Contested Ream, an old school Magic influenced tactical collectible card game. Bring your own deck or borrow one from members of the Sorcery Social Club, playmats will be provided and there’s no entry fee to participate in casual play.

This week we’ll also be offering an Arthurian Legends booster draft starting at 6:30pm, $20 entry, pack per win and extra special prizes will be given out to the top player and raffled off randomly to additional participants.

But this Japanese multiplayer variant is like a mixture of poker and rummy that you play with tiles. But you can't just fold if you have a bad hand! You have to carefully navigate each draw and discard to stay alive. You never really know how much danger you (or your opponents) might be in! Riichi is the premier way to play in the US, and we want to expand our local playgroup and teach everyone how great this game is. Practically infinite depth achieved with simple base mechanics. Lots of room for personal style, too! No experience or familiarity required.

Every second Sunday of the month, join us for a Collective Hobby Night!

Whether painting or building miniatures, all you need to do is bring your project and have fun! We want to create an environment where you can socialize with similar-minded folks while completing those pesky projects. Bring your own supplies, models/terrain for whatever tabletop game(s) you play, and your lovely self. There will be some community paints and other supplies, but bringing your own supplies will guarantee you’ll have what you need.

Players will receive a Welcome Kit, complete with a Ready-To-Play Welcome Deck, and two packs of Jumpstart Foundations, for two ways to jump right in and learn!

Netrunner is an asymmetric cyberpunk card game, where elite hackers attempt to steal secrets from megacorporations without getting flatlined.

Based on the 1990s Richard Garfield game, Netrunner is currently produced by the non profit fan collective Null Signal Games.

Bring a laptop, notebook, or whatever you have to jot down your thoughts and bounce ideas off of your fellow patrons! This event is a little different, each player will team up with a friend or be paired up with another attendee to battle it out in a two verse two format. Matches will be best of one and each team will be awarded two packs per win. 3 matches will be played. the team that goes 3-0 will be awarded two collector booster packs!

 Oops, all bards! Celebrate the launch of Against the Gloom, a new TTRPG from Scryptid Games about pirate rockstars in the underworld. The game and the creator, Dustin Patrick Winter, share a birthday--November 2nd--so don your best pirate garb (one last hurrah for your Maryland Renn Faire duds) and come out to No Land Beyond to toast them both.

Against the Gloom is a dice-based role-playlist-building game about music’s furious resistance to despair. What if our heroes exchanged their battle axes for Stratocasters? And what if lyrics and harmony were actual magic? Against the Gloom is a fantasy TTRPG of melodic mayhem that asks this and more! It's about the joy and power of music, chosen family, and building community in the face of the void.

In Against the Gloom, players take on the roles of punk pirate troubadours sailing across a vast and dangerous void—the Gloom—aboard a ramshackle ship propelled by the power of song. Use your character's sonic powers to push back the Gloom as it seeks to obliterate any pockets of community that dare to resist it. Build your story one gig at a time.

Roll dice. Build your playlist. Fight the Gloom. 

Celebrate Halloween with a spook-tacular event that invites players to participate in Sealed Deck events with a chilling twist. Participating players who dare to register for the Trick event with their Wizards Account will receive a Trick Event Goodie Bag containing 4 Duskmourn: House of Horror Play Boosters and 2 random Magic: The Gathering boosters, which may be Play, Draft, Set, Collector, or even Mystery Boosters! With their goodie bags in hand, players will then create a 40-card deck from the contents of the boosters and begin facing off in one-on-one matches with other participants! All players will begin the game with the following emblem, found in their bags: "Whenever an enchantment enters the battlefield under your control, choose one: Trick – create a treasure token. Treat – create a food token."

Prizing will be one play booster of Duskmourn per win and every player will be entered in to a raffle to win a Duskmourn Nightmare Bundle! Entry price is $35, deck building starts at 7pm, 3 best of 3 rounds will be played after deck building.
